In the early hours of Monday, September 21, there was a trash can fire on our playground. The fire was reported by a passerby and was extinguished by the Roseville Fire Department. It appears the fire was random and non-targeted, we are continuing to work with officails. Amazingly, the fire never entered the building, but there was major smoke damage inside. The staff was alerted to the fire by a contractor who came to do previously scheduled work at the building. We are currently working with recovery and environmental specialists. Due to the smoke and air quality, we are unable to use the building.

The environmentalist company has completed their testing of the building and found many areas with carcinogens that will need to be cleaned/deodorized. We are waiting for these reports to be completed and sent to the mitigation company. Once the mitigation company receives these, they will be able to compile a scope of work to share with the insurance company. We appreciate everyone who has offered to help, however all the cleaning will need to be done by a professional team.

Once we have the information from the mitigation team, we can create a timeline for when we are able to reenter the building for ministry use. At this point, we do not have an estimated time and must be patient as each step is a process. Our plan going forward, until we receive updated information is as follows:

• Sundays will continue to be three family services at 9am, 10am, and 11am. Please register for one service on our website or the Church Center App. Activity packs will be given to kids to use in service and at home.
• Men’s Fellowship, Women’s Fellowship, and Discipleship Institute will continue to meet on their respective nights.
• C3Youth will meet on Tuesdays for their regularly scheduled Small Groups. Guys will meet at Chris’s house and girls will meet at Mrs. Connie’s house. See a youth leader for the addresses. Registration is also open for our Next Level Retreat in November.
• Wednesday services will be for Kaleidoscope Kids families only. We will have a Children’s Ministry service from 6:30-8pm for families with kids in 6th grade and younger. C3youth are also welcome to attend as helpers. This is not a drop-off program but for parents to attend with their children.
• Fall Festival is still planned for Friday, October 23 at 6:30pm; whether that will be back in the building or in the Student Center. Volunteers will be needed and can register on the Church Center App (starting Sunday). Candy donations will be accepted in a bin in the Student Center.
